Lifewell is committed to developing healthy communities in Maricopa County by providing quality, affordable housing to individuals with disabilities. Our Housing Department provides expert property management and customer service to ensure that our tenants obtain and maintain decent, safe, and sanitary housing. We regularly coordinate with clinical staff from Lifewell and the Provider Network Organizations (PNOs) to assure that the tenants residing at our properties are supported and successful.

As a contracted Housing Provider with the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA), Lifewell manages over five hundred housing units for Seriously Mentally Ill enrolled members in Maricopa County. These programs include:

  • Community Living Placement (CLP)
  • Transitional Living Placement (TLP)
  • Flexcare
  • Flexcare Plus
  • Flexcare Plus Extended
  • Tenant-Based Housing Vouchers

The scope of supportive services provided for each program varies and is dependent upon the individual preferences and needs of the population served.

In addition to the housing services contracted through the RBHA, Lifewell has four HUD-funded affordable housing programs, each serving individuals with disabilities:

  • Pinchot Apartments, for women in recovery from substance abuse and their children
  • Desert Sol Apartments, for individuals who are blind or visually impaired
  • Desert Esperanza and Villa Davis programs, scattered-site housing for Seriously Mentally Ill individuals with co-occurring substance abuse disorders
