Carol has over 15 years of helping people take action and change. She is a strategic leader of people, communications and culture, always looking to create something new and build something better. She likes to use her ability to rapidly learn to help people and organizations successfully and effectively move through change. Carol focuses on resolving learning, change and communication gaps in order to boost performance and improve efficiency.
Carol has experience in the technology, healthcare and security industries, building culture & engagement, communications & change, learning & development and social responsibility solutions. She is skilled in program oversight, budget management, and teams.
Carol received her bachelor’s degree in English from California State University, Los Angeles, and her master’s degree in African Area Studies / Sociolinguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a PROSCI change practitioner and certified as a Human Capital Strategist and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
For the past 20+ years, Carol has volunteered in her local communities with leadership roles guiding non-profit organizations she believes in, including Head Start Orange County, Orange County Human Relations Council, and was a founding member of the Sustainability Council of Orange County. She also served as a Commissioner on Human Relations Commissions for the counties of Orange and Santa Clara and was Commission Chair in the OC and led the Justice Review Committee in Santa Clara. She served Chapman University on the Parents Ambassador Council Executive Board and the American Celebration Opening Night Planning Committee.
She resides in Phoenix, Arizona and loves to travel and write poetry with plans for publishing.
