LIFEWELL PEER SUPPORT SPECIALIST TRAINING
Lifewell Behavioral Wellness is now offering a Peer Support Specialist Training Program to TXIX and NTXIX individuals receiving Magellan SMI services. Recently approved by ADHS/ DBHS, Lifewell’s Peer Support Specialist Training Program will provides two development tracks:
1. Professional Track: A skill building opportunity designed to enhance self and system awareness and prepare participants for direct service positions within the behavioral health field; and
2. Personal Growth Track: A supportive adult education service designed to enhance an individual's skills leading to community integration and self-sufficiency.
The training is approximately 60 hours and may be completed in four to six weeks.
